It seems that spend­ing too much time sur­rounded by Indus­trial Design and User Inter­face guys is min­ing my tech­ni­cal back­ground but I am def­i­nitely falling in love with the Yanko Design web site.

This small white cube will sit on your desk and will wait for your mobile phone to come close.

When the cube will detect your mobile phone it will start charg­ing the phone using short range induc­tion technology.

At the very same time it will start to talk with you hand­set visu­ally noti­fy­ing you of incom­ing events such as voice calls, sms mes­sages etc.

Finally if you will touch the cube it will remotely start the mobile phone media player start­ing to stream music over a blue­tooth con­nec­tion and repro­duc­ing it via its inter­nal speakers.

Very inter­est­ing con­cept designed by Sohui Won.
