Your Mobile Phone Is Talking To A White Cube

It seems that spending too much time surrounded by Industrial Design and User Interface guys is mining my technical background but I am definitely falling in love with the Yanko Design web site.

This small white cube will sit on your desk and will wait for your mobile phone to come close.

When the cube will detect your mobile phone it will start charging the phone using short range induction technology.

At the very same time it will start to talk with you handset visually notifying you of incoming events such as voice calls, sms messages etc.

Finally if you will touch the cube it will remotely start the mobile phone media player starting to stream music over a bluetooth connection and reproducing it via its internal speakers.

Very interesting concept designed by Sohui Won.

  1. It looks cool but I can’t really see how big it is. Also it looks to have led lights which if they change color that will be cool too.

The same reason why Twitter, the social community that asks one simple question, “what are you doing?”, is so addictive and popular”. Ora la cosa fortissima è che l’hanno fatto all’Alta Scuola Politecnica di Milano e Torino. (Thnks .Dust. Greatpost:)
