We have another announce­ment from Apple regard­ing the dis­tri­b­u­tion of the mighty iPhone in Ger­many from T-​Mobile.

Accord­ing to the press release the retail price for the 8Gb model will be 399,00 €

Hey, guys, did you have a look at this: “Dol­lar plunges through 1.40 against euro” (via Finan­cial Times)

If we do the math 399,00 € is some­thing like 550,00 USD.

Why do I blog this? Always tried to fig­ure out why euro­peans have to pay much more than amer­i­can to own Apple stuff.
